A man has been accused of attempting to pass a $360 billion check, which he claims was given to him by his girlfriend’s mother to start a record business, Fort Worth police said.

Charles Ray Fuller, 21, of Crowley, was arrested on April 22 on an accusation of forgery, police said.

Police responded to a report of a man attempting to pass the check about 4 p.m. that day at the Chase bank in the 8600 block of South Hulen Street, Fort Worth police Lt. Paul Henderson said.

A full page advertisement in the newspaper USA Today used the police shot of Lohan after her arrest in Los Angeles last year for drunken driving under a caption saying "Ignition interlocks. A good idea for:" (Lohan) "But a bad idea for us:" showing pictures of adults drinking at weddings and restaurants.

The ad says ignition interlocks, which prevent intoxicated drivers from starting their cars, are "a great tool for getting hard-core drunk drivers off our roads."

A former Lake Elsinore high school teacher could face three years in prison after pleading guilty Friday to sexually abusing a female student.

The woman's twin sister pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge for helping her sister and the student see each other outside of school.

Franca Munoz-Juvera, 27, who taught math at Lakeside High School until June, pleaded guilty to a single count of lewd acts with a minor for having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student between October and November 2006.

A Frankfort man was arrested on drug trafficking charges early Sunday morning after he was reportedly pumping gas into an imaginary vehicle. According to the arrest report, Metro Police arrived at a gas station at First and Jefferson streets in Louisville and immediately smelled marijuana coming from Joshua L. Moore, who station clerks contend was filling up an imaginary vehicle.

Officers searched Moore and found "two large baggies" of marijuana and a large amount of Ecstasy. Police said Moore also had a cell phone and a large amount of money, which they said was indicative of trafficking.

Police said that more narcotics were located on Moore when he was being booked into Metro Corrections.

Collier County sheriff's deputies say the four men claimed they were "cow tipping," but deputies say there were no cows in this Golden Gate field -- only radio towers. The four wound up behind bars.

Reports say deputies responded to a report of damage to a gate to a communications tower on privately owned land at Massey Street and Vanderbilt Beach Road around 10:15 p.m. When deputies arrived, a white Ford F150 pickup and a black Dodge truck attempted to flee the property.

The four occupants of the trucks told deputies that they had gone into the field and tipped over a cow. Deputies say there aren’t any cows within miles of the field.

A 19 year old man has been charged with domestic assault after he trashed the video store where his girlfriend worked, and caused a public disturbance.

His girlfriend told police that they had been arguing about the upbringing of their son and which gang he should belong to. The teen mother, who is black, is a member of the Crips. Manzanares is Hispanic and belongs to the Westside Ballers gang, the woman said.

Rapper and recent reality TV star Vanilla Ice was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Thursday night on a charge of simple domestic battery after his wife called deputies to say her husband was hitting and kicking her.

Deputies arrived at their Wellington home around 7:15 p.m. to find the 40-year-old star, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, on his motorcycle, two blocks from their home.

Back at the house on Trianon Place, Laura Van Winkle appeared uninjured and was less forthcoming, saying she did not want to deal with media attention but wants a divorce, according to a deputy's report. She said her husband had not hit or kicked her, but had pushed her.

Richmond County Deputies arrest a teenager for pretending he was a police officer at the Mayor's Masters Reception Monday night.

18 year old Evan Blake Campbell is charged with impersonating a police officer.

Investigators say he was walking around representing himself as an officer with the Aiken and North Augusta Department of Public Safety.

Baltimore County Police say James Edward, Hensley, 32 has failed to register with the Maryland Sex Offender Registry.

Hensley doesn't have a current address, but is known to frequent eastern Baltimore County. Police say he goes by the nickname "Pooh Bear."

In 2001, Hensley was convicted of second degree rape of a child.

A Forsyth County man ran over and killed his girlfriend with a half-ton truck, according to police.

Mark Jones, 42, of Cumming is accused of hitting Chrissy Newton, 34, on Shiloh Rd. Sunday after an argument. She died Wednesday of her injuries.

Police arrested Jones on DUI charges on Sunday, but now he could be facing more serious charges.

Police say a man in Bellevue was caught on tape having sex with a picnic table.

Bellevue Police Captain Matt Johnson says Art Price, Jr., 40, was seen on four occasions between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and noon having sex with his picnic table. What makes this a felony, Johnson says, is that it took place in close proximity to a school, which made it likely that children could have seen Price.

The neighbor -- who wishes to remain anonymous -- saw Price walk out onto his deck, stand a round metal table on its side and use the hole for the umbrella to have sex.

Meet Kelly Sweet. The eighth grade teacher, 26, is facing a felony rap for an alleged sexual encounter with a 14-year-old boy in her Milwaukee apartment earlier this month. As noted in a Circuit Court criminal complaint, the Deer Creek Intermediate School teacher was watching a movie with the boy on March 9 when she initiated illicit contact while the pair was seated on her couch (Sweet had been resting her head on the boy's lap). The charged assault involved Sweet allegedly "grinding her pubic mound" against the victim.

’bout time we got some real news around here. Fresh off two rehab stints in the past year, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was arrested for DUI last night in Laguna Beach. TMZ says:

Law enforcement sources tell us the Bon Jovi guitarist was pulled over by the Laguna Beach PD just before 11:00 PM last night. Cops say they observed him driving erratically in a black Hummer and pulled him over. He failed numerous field sobriety tests and was detained for DUI.

At the station Sambora opted to take a blood test rather than blow into a breathalyzer. Laguna Beach PD tells TMZ there’s no indication of drugs.

Baker County deputies investigating a report of a suspicious person at North Prong Cemetery Church found a woman inside and a man hiding under the church. They told investigators they broke in so they could have sex on the altar.

Arriving deputies said they found the door of the church on county Road 210 busted out and undergarments scattered on the floor. They found Crystal Ann Rowland, 24, hiding behind the pulpit and Matthew Thomas Pearce, 28, hiding in the crawl space under the church.

Pearce told deputies that he had Rowland were drinking when she told him she wanted a "spiritual and sexual experience." Deputies said Rowland broke into the little-used church located next to the North Prong Cemetery near Sanderson.

Dawn Well's, best known as Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, plea bargained today to one count of reckless driving in a case that seemed to have gone on forever and a day: Wells is now serving six months' unsupervised probation for the crime. She was sentenced Feb. 29 to five days in jail, fined $410.50 and placed on probation after pleading guilty to one count of reckless driving.

The guilty plea came as part of an agreement with prosecutors in which three misdemeanor counts — driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance — were dropped.

Two women have been arrested and charged with illegally pulling up railroad spikes.

Deputies say Sandra Clevenger and Susan Townsend were caught stealing between 75-100 railroad spikes along with other railroad equipment between Jordan Road and Pioneer Road.

Officers say they confronted the pair after they caught them red handed.

Deputies say Townsend continued to rip up the railroad spikes even after she was told not to.

A 27-year-old Pennsylvania man was in custody today on suspicion that he had sex with a 14-year-old girl in her home after he had a friend drive him to Texas and drop him off at her house on Sunday, police said.

The teen had met the man on the Internet, and the teenager’s mother found him hiding in the girl’s bed Monday night and called police.

Police arrested Eric Gahagen, 27, of Central City, Pa., without incident. He was in the Bedford Jail Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault with bail set at $50,000.

Golden Glove boxer Joe DiStefano IV, 20, was arrested at his Brooksville home Wednesday after deputies say he took a few swings at them.

DiStefano’s mother called deputies Wednesday afternoon to say her son was arguing with his live-in girlfriend at the home the three of them share.

The mother said she heard glass and furniture being broken inside the room. When she tried to call 911, the woman says her son took the phone and smashed it on the ground, completely breaking it into two pieces.

A Westmoreland County jury convicted a Greensburg woman Friday in the ambush slaying of a man whom she plotted to rob of money, drugs and weapons.

Jennifer Vinsek, 26, will spend her life in prison for the robbery -- which netted two bags of clothes, toiletries and $2 in wrapped quarters -- after William Teck, 25, of Hempfield was shot along railroad tracks May 30, 2006, in Manor.

Jason Maple, 26, of Penn Township, the alleged triggerman who fired a shotgun once into Teck's back, will be tried next month. Offering testimony will be three accused accomplices who also testified against Vinsek.

The Chinese actress was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of shoplifting two celebrity magazines and two packets of batteries at Los Angeles International Airport. The items had a total value of $16, said Sgt. Jim Holcomb of the airport's police department.

The 41-year-old actress was detained by a store employee who summoned police, Holcomb said. She was booked for investigation of misdemeanor shoplifting and released after agreeing to appear in court on March 5.

A Palatka man has earned a dubious distinction: Alger Scott has been arrested 101 times.

The most recent time came Wednesday when the 54-year-old was charged with selling drugs within 1,000 feet of a school.

A Mississippi teacher admitted to cops that she had sex with a 15-year-old male student to whom she sent explicit text messages and trysted with in her Jaguar, which bore the license plate "GRRRRR." Those are just some of the sleazy details in a Biloxi Police Department report detailing Rebecca Dawn Bogard's alleged sexual assault of the boy, who the 27-year-old educator taught at the Biloxi Alternative School.

Investigators were contacted by the boy's mother after she discovered raunchy messages from the teacher on the boy's phone, including one from a "Dawn" who wrote, "I love you, yeah it was the best, which night was the best 4 you, I'm sensitive but not sore, you were good..."
