Schumacher has just produced this short spot in partnership with Bacardi to encourage responsible drinking. It will be shown internationally, though we doubt that means you'll see it on your telly in the states.

Sure, the world is going down the drain, but we still like nothing more than seeing some guys in fuel guzzling cars burning rubber for fun.

Well, that was short-lived. Spyker announced yesterday that after the negative publicity surrounding the exotic automaker's credit worthiness, combined with its aim of staying afloat in the future, it may consider selling a portion, and possibly all, of its Formula One team.

Spyker's CEO, Michiel Mol, is currently contemplating buying the team, and as such, will be stepping down in order to avoid a conflict of interest. The company's vice-chairman, Hans Hugenholtz, will be taking the reigns as the acting CEO until a replacement for Mol is found.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has ended speculation by revealing there will not be a 2008 US Grand Prix.

He is keen to stage races in other areas, especially Asia, and said no other US venue was in line to replace Indianapolis, its home since 2000.

"We didn't reach an agreement. Let's see if we miss America," he said.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone says there is "no way" Lewis Hamilton will be docked points in the Ferrari-McLaren spy row.

There have bean fears ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix that the McLaren rookie, who has opened up a 14-point lead at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings, could be penalised in the wake of the scandal which has rocked the sport.
