Poring over the details of the Homage is akin to going on an Easter Egg hunt.

Mitsubishi has released the first sketch of its Frankfurt-bound concept crossover, the Concept -cX. It sports a look up front that's clearly evocative of the new Lancer, and its hatchback-style bodywork is set off by an upward-sweeping character line along its flank.

Fisker's premium hybrid sports sedan finally has a name: Karma. It is particularly apt since the coach builder's aim is to give customers a luxury sports sedan about which they can feel proud for what it does, or doesn't do, to the environment. The Karma is powered by what's being called Q-DRIVE, a system developed by Quantum Technologies that combines a four-cylinder engine sending power to a generator to propel the four-door sedan. Fisker claims that the Karma can run from zero to sixty in 5.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 125 mph.

Mitsubishi has just released sketches of the concept coupe they will be showing at the January's Detroit Auto Show that looks set to take the best of the original Eclipse, the Audi R10 and the latest Evo X. Like so many other cars, the Eclipse has grown progressively larger and heavier with each generation. The Concept-RA looks set to return to its more sprightly roots with a lightweight aluminum space frame and plastic resin body panels.

In their usual tradition for the Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler has produced a bunch of concept vehicles designed to exhibit their latest design and technology trends.The Dodge Zeo is a 2+2 sport wagon that demonstrates a new breed of muscle car. Destined for a younger crowd, the Zeo features an electric-only propulsion system with a battery pack that provides a range of 250 miles (400 km).The Jeep Renegade Concept is a small 2-seater suited for sunny-weather activities. With a chopped windscreen, a roll bar, cutouts in the lower portion of the doors and an interior that can be hosed out, the Renegade Concept is said to be an eco-friendly vehicle. It is powered by a 40-mile (64-km) battery pack coupled to a small BLUETEC diesel engine, and the result is a fuel-economy figure of 110 US mpg, or 2.1 L/100 km.The Chrysler ecoVoyager Concept is a 4-door, 4-passenger vehicle designed for those who like elegance, simplicity and serenity. The ecoVoyager features a hybrid powertrain composed of a lithium-ion battery pack and a small hydrogen fuel cell that extends the range of the vehicle. The result is a total range of over 300 miles (480 km) and the only thing that comes out of the tailpipes is water

Dodge's entry in the 2008 Detroit Auto Show concept sweeps is the new ZEO, a concept that is perhaps the polar opposite of the Viper. The four-door, four-seat sport-wagon has the typical Dodge aggression but, like its partners this year, big eight- and ten-cylinder engines are out the picture. The ZEO is a battery EV with a claimed 250-mile range courtesy of a lithium ion battery pack. It will be interesting to see if this one is a runner like most Chrysler concepts or just a mock-up. We'll be watching this one very closely.

The boys over at the blog that likes to spend more time Kicking Tires than not, reminded us of a little Zeta-platformed concept designed jointly by GM and SAIC that we'd totally forgotten we hadn't yet seen in person, but we need to be looking for at the Detroit Auto Show next month. It's quite possibly the most amazing Buick concept car we've ever seen -- the Chinese Buick Riviera concept car. The Riviera concept made its initial debut at the Shanghai Auto Show last year, and now it'll be coming to make it's North American debut at none other than the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS -- it's the fancy name for the Detroit Auto Show). Basically, it'll be the first time we've seen a Buick sedan we'd actually want to buy. Well, at least since the GNX anyway.
